4 Houses LCC by Gaeta Springall Architects
The project is solved from two towers containing two houses each to be accessed from zero, ascending or descending to the houses. As you progress through the set, begin to see integration with the landscape and the houses are floating or below the access road.
The project aims to house just land on the ground, hence the structural design which has only four steel columns in each tower to achieve the effect of “floating houses” in the landscape.
The ground floor is completely free adding integration with the natural landscape and making a very special and accessibility to all the houses.
In terms of language and skins are used pure forms using a very limited palette of materials, facades open to the best views frankly and controlled openings into the child views.
