A house with windows in the sky

A house with windows in the sky (Skybox House) in Denmark from Primus architects. This small house is built on a family seaside area in Denmark. The main “trick” of the project is to add volume and light to relatively small areas. To do this in the roof were built additional windows, turning it into a fifth facade.

The house has two bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Exterior finish is made of oak timber 30×30 mm treated with sulfate to give the effect of aging. Isolation of mineral wool – 300 mm on top and 150 mm in the walls. Heating is provided by heat pumps that are integrated into the design of the walls, which reduces heating costs and reduce CO2 emissions.
