Add-house at Aachen

This add-in is executed on an existing home the 50s in the area with 1-3 storey buildings. An unusual form attracted the attention of the local community, and hopefully the authors, can be regarded as a role model for similar solutions.

The construction of superstructure is made of prefabricated panels, installation of which carried a single day. As the outer coating of larch used without any decorative treatment – with the time it acquires a characteristic silver-gray color.
