Contemporary riverfront design by Correia/Ragazzi Aquitectos
From the outside, resulting 60m2 house is a simple, almost utilitarian, with a little frill. Inside is another story, where an open concept layout and simplicity of style complements the real star of the show to see. Glass walls on both sides of the structure of natural invited in, while the living room at the end of the home program concludes with glazed walls framing views of the river valley. located in the Peneda-Geras National Park in northern Portugal, is part hidden in the hillside, and the precariously cantilevered over the river rushing below Cevado. Clients provide architects Grace Correia and his new partner Italy, Roberto Ragazzi, carte blanche to design a riverside house in 5,000 m2 site, with only two strict criteria – that no trees will be cut in the execution of the house, and that will be made of concrete.
