‘Green’ house in East Hampton
Drawing inspiration from the architecture of the provincial 19 th century, the author gently combines tradition and modern approach to architecture as well as in materials and technologies. The thin walls of the topography, volume and plans accurately tie the house to the site, fully meeting the customer’s requests in the private and public spaces.
Rough texture of the basic materials (concrete blocks and cedar board) increases facades and accents the smooth, finished surface in the interior.
Particular attention is paid to the design and construction of energy-saving technologies – nearly all construction and engineering building systems are designed and implemented with reference to the ecology and to minimize heat loss. In particular, the walls are made using special effective thermal insulation panels, floor – warm, glazing – double layer with an argon-filled, the roof is covered with special insulating material. In addition, the windows are given to minimize overheating in summer and in the pool used the technology without harmful chemicals.
