House-dam in Australia

The house that looks like a dam, which cover a small ravine, located on top of a hill and has panoramic views of the typical Australian landscape.

The house is made to meet modern standards for ecology and conservation: during its construction using natural materials (iron), solar panels produce electricity and warm water, the house is well insulated and has double glazing, a tank for collecting rainwater, and control power consumption of all automated.

The house wins international architectural competition in 2009.
