Long Chair for Public Spaces and Conversations
Imagine a large hall. A place where people know each compartment, to chat, maybe a drink, look for an installation while you enjoy a drink. In short, a dynamic situation, in which the session should not inhibit, but rather, to reconcile the conversation, bringing together rather than divide. Stuhlhockerbank, The German designer Yvonne Fehling & Jennie Peiz, Is both the name is in fact a union of three words and three concepts: chair, stool, bench. A long bench on which stand, spread, backs, which come out of chairs, original cast at the meeting, to create circular spaces, meeting places, corners to the chatter. The overall look is pleasingly messy, such as a car left in chaos after a party, the positions of the chairs that reflect the attitudes of those who used them, the more relaxed the more composed, for those who prefer to lie down or sit as can be erected, straddling or just standing on a corner, ready to leave.
