Residential house in Melbourne

Reconstruction of the existing house. Honestly, could not find a translation option – the hill, mound, mountain, car, truck, or a stretcher, the proposed dictionary will not work. Based on the author’s conception it could be called the home-box, if not the price of half a million dollars.

The new part of the house is built, was attached to an existing one. Exterior finish is made of wooden slats. The new volume as it grows (or rises) in the pre-existing, usable area which is now used as a bathroom. However, it remained only on the cast-iron bathtub, around which created a completely new solution.

Attached volume, but adding new living spaces, open interior space in the garden, united with them great stained glass windows. And use of wooden slats apart from the facade and the improvement of the site further strengthens the integrity of the inner and outer space.
