The boutique Fabergé Salon by Jaime Hayon

The historic Russian home jewelry store had not opened since 1917. As part of a comprehensive strategy to relaunch the brand, Faberge has had the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon for designing its new store opened in Geneva.
The newly appointed Creative Director of Fabergé, Katharina Flohr, has selected the Spanish international designer to create the new store, the first after nearly 100 years. Trying to link the legacy of his own aesthetic Fabergé, Hayón minimal forms has combined with daring colors and heavy materials. Ceramic candlesticks silver finish, paneled doors with ornaments resembling precious stones, silk curtains and many mirrors. An example of the concept of luxury and exclusivity, as understood by the enfant terrible of Spanish design.
According to the designer, the project has sought to give fresh air to an establishment of Fine Jewellery, seeking the expression of modern luxury through simplicity and sensuality. The concept of the departed Hayón mixture was minimals forms with sophisticated materials such as silk upholstered walls, fine wood or marble of Carrara. The open spaces have been distributed in a simple, leaving leadership to the furniture and decorative details. Neutral colors give the local a dynamic balanced and calm, while its luminosity comes from the use of silver metallic finishes that reflect the multitude of mirrors.
